Marisa Tomei Left Little To The Imagination, Try Not To GASP!

Marisa Tomei to Star in New Relationship Comedy from Ann Marie Allison

Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei is set to headline a new comedy as a psychologist dishing out relationship advice—even as her own love life remains a mess. The film follows her character on a wild and heartfelt journey with her best friend, Cola, as they race to stop her daughter, Bravo, from marrying a man she suspects may be a dangerous narcissist.

“I’m beyond thrilled that we’ve assembled a dream team cast to bring this story to life,” said writer-director Ann Marie Allison. “The film is inspired by the experiences of everyday people around the world, and my goal is to create something that speaks to anyone who’s ever loved a narcissist—with humor, heart, and a path toward healing.”

Tomei brings undeniable star power and depth to the role. With a celebrated career that includes iconic performances in My Cousin Vinny and The Wrestler, she has remained a fixture in both indie darlings and blockbuster hits. Most recently, she reprised her role as Aunt May in the Spider-Man franchise and starred in She Came To Me alongside Anne Hathaway and Peter Dinklage—a quirky romantic comedy about a creatively blocked composer who finds unexpected inspiration (and trouble) in an affair with a tugboat captain.
