
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt abruptly ended a press conference on Friday after President Donald Trump was forced to cut his remarks short.
The event coincided with the swearing-in of television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz, who has been appointed to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during Trump’s second term.
As the briefing neared its conclusion, the broadcast was suddenly interrupted, and the screen went black. According to FOX News, the press conference was terminated early because one of Dr. Oz’s children experienced a medical emergency and had to be escorted out of the Oval Office.

President Trump briefly stepped away from the podium to assess the situation, while Dr. Oz’s wife, Lisa, appeared visibly concerned, as reported by Mirror US. Dr. Oz quickly rushed over to assist, adding to the chaotic atmosphere.
FOX News presenter noted, “We don’t know what’s going on there, the press are being ushered out of the room. Obviously, you can see that there was some situation that might have occurred, it might have been medical.”
Another video later revealed a young girl being helped as she was led out of the Oval Office. The White House has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
